We offer free 15 minute consultations face-to-face, digitally, or over the phone, to discuss personal goals, therapeutic options, or to answer any questions with your chosen clinician .
This session provides a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space to explore thoughts and feelings on a one-to-one basis. Through various methods and techniques, you and your counsellor will focus on setting and achieving goals related to your life's challenges.

Family or Group Therapy services are designed to address a wide range of issues affecting family's or groups.
Through professional guidance, these services aim to foster health relationships, support emotional healing, and improve the over all mental well-being or dynamic of the parties. Whether through conflict resolution, emotional support, or skill-building psychoeducation, the services provided offer valuable resources for enhancing family and group cohesion and growth.
Payment is due at the end of every service. We accept cash, e-transfer, or credit card payments. Credit card is needed on file for bookings.
Administrative Services available face to face, digitally, or over the phone where applicable. Some options might be restricted due to the specifics of the request.
Our service helps individuals navigate and complete essential documentation accurately and effectively in a timely manner. Additionally, we work closely with other professionals involved in your care, including other healthcare providers, to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
Our goal is to make these tasks less of a barrier, to allow you to focus on furthering your well-being.

Health benefits, insurance, or other financial coverage must include counselling services covered under a “Registered Social Worker”.
Some benefit packages may have specific limitations, such as a set number of sessions, time with a clinician, or a capped dollar amount for coverage. We recommend contacting your provider directly to discuss your coverage options and ensure you have all the necessary details or information.
At this time, we are unable to accept direct billing from insurance providers. Payment for services will be due at the end of each session.
Our rates have been carefully set to reflect the industry standards for the level of professional service and experience provided. While we are open to discussing sliding scale options for those who may need them, please note that these options are not guaranteed. We encourage you to speak with your psychotherapist before beginning session to explore available options.
Please be aware that there is no HST charged on Therapeutic Services.

Payment for services will be due at the end of each session.
We understand that life can be challenging, and sometimes situations arise that might require changing your appointment. If you need to reschedule or cancel, we kindly ask that you do so at least twenty four (24) hours in advance. This allows us to accommodate other clients and avoid any inconveniences.
To ensure fairness, cancellations or rescheduling made after this window may be subject to the full session fee. "No shows" will also be charged for the full session.
If you anticipate being late for your appointment, please contact your clinician. We will do our best to accommodate you, which may include offering an alternative method of appointment (E.G., phone or digital) or rescheduling. If you arrive late, the session will end at the original schedule time to ensure fairness to the other clients schedules that day.
Payment for services are generally non-refundable and are considered final on completion of services. Exceptions can be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of Beacon Of Light Counselling
